How to Design a Happy Planner using Design Space

Image
I have used Design Space in order to plan my layouts for a long time. It occurred to me that I could do the same thing with my Happy Planner Using basic shapes included in Design Space I recreated my Happy Planner in all 3 sizes on the canvas. From there I can apply and size images to create stickers. To use my templates click HERE Once I had placed and sized all the images I wanted. I flattened each image to create my sticker. I printed them out on sticker paper and then cut them with the cricut. Please note: for best results use the custom materials setting and search for sticker paper! Thank you so much for stopping by! Blessings,

I didn't get to take too many pics of our surprise trip to the Silver Mountain Resort, because we were there mostly for the water park, but I did get this adorable one of them hugging on the bench before checking into our room. It went perfect with the sketch that Stuck?!  had up for this month on their challenge blog. Snow! and Big News

I'm so excited to announce that I am back on the Fantabulous Cricut Blog Design Team! This has always been a favorite site of mine to visit and play whenever I had the time. It's a great place to get inspiration and ideas for playing with your Cricut and making cards in general! My first challenge, and your challenge this week is create a project around snow! It's not too hard for me to get inspired by the idea of snow! Here in Idaho we have plenty of it. Check out this picture I took on our drive down to Moscow for my daughter's Robotics competition. Challenge #293-Snow Make a project about Snow! This Weeks Sponsor  Pretty Cute Stamps To qualify for the prize,  be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut  on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.  If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images. Any project that doesn't use a Cricut eleme...

Catchin up with the Scrapbook

Image
I decided that I should share some of the layouts I have been doing recently. These layouts were actually inspired by the My Scraps and More daily challenges. Enjoy, I used the 4 circles as my photo base and I used 6 different patterns of paper within the circles and the borders, and the 10 flowers are spilling off the side to complete the embellishments. The circles were cut using the George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge and the paper comes from DCWV: My Sunshine Stack. I cut the title using the Type Candy Font Cricut Cartridge, the banner from Lovely Floral, the arrow from Graphically Speaking, and the circle from George and Basic Shapes. The paper comes from DCWV: The Dots, Stripes, and Plaids stack. I used stitching via twine on the ends of the larger border as well as using twine on the paper heart buttons. The paper comes from DCWV: A Type of Art stack. The circles were cut out using the George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge. This layout ...

Snow Days

Well I finally decided to start working on my family scrapbook. I have taken a pretty long break from layouts, only here and there. But, it's about time to start catching up, and yes I now have a lot of catching up to do. However, I've had fun with the break as I've been taking part in design team challenges creating paper projects, cards, and a couple layouts.  So, here is a layout featuring my two kids playing with their neighbor in the snow. This layout actually happened to fall under some challenge categories so I decided to enter it in some challenges. You'll see the challenge entry list at the bottom of this post. To create this layout I used the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge for the Snow Day title and I used the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge for the Snow Much Fun title as well as the sleds sitting on the circles and the snowman between Snow and Day. I embellished my layout using some red and white twine (one of my newest favorite ways to embe...

White Elegance

Image
This week through December 26th the challenge at  Cut It Up  is to create an ALL white card with only a small touch of one other color, and please don't forget to use your diecut!!!! Here's my card for this challenge: To make this card I used glitter paper and fun edged scissors to cut the edge of it on the card. Behind the edge you can see some pretty polka dot ribbon. The snow flakes come from the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge. They are shadowed using some silver metallic paper. I then added a jewel in the center of each snow flake to finish it off. Now, it's your turn. Create an ALL white card with a diecut and upload it to the  Cut It Up  blog!

Pins To Creation December Blog Hop

Image
Welcome to the Pins to Creation Winter/Christmas/Hanukkah blog hop!!! There are some fantastic projects for you to see and I hope you get inspired. If you have just happened by and would like to start at the beginning than head on over to the Pins to Creation Blog . If you have come here from Jessica's  blog than you are in the right place. Here was my inspiration: This orginally cam from Court at Court's Crafts This orginally came from Donna at  Popsicle Toes Like usual you can see these pictures on my Pinterest boards . On to my projects: I used the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge to create my card and instead of doing the background embossed (too big to fit into my textured boutique embosser) I used pretty glitter paper. I used the idea rather than to copy her card directly. I loved how she layered the sentiment. I did the same thing using three layers of the shadow feature for the base of each word. Such a simple c...

Yummy Yummy

Well, it's summer time and it's also a new Design Team term at the  Fantabulous Cricut blog . I'm staying on and I'm so excited for this summer into fall term. The challenges already are amazing. Like today's challenge, which is to create a project with any type of summer dessert (ice cream, popsicle, fruit, etc). I knew just what I was going to do. Summer time for me means lots and lots of popsicles - my kids think if it's hot then it must be time for a popsicle! Check out my popsicle card below: I used paper from the DCWV Nana's Kids paper stack, because it's glittery delicious!!! The popsicle is from the Sweet Shop Cricut Lite Cartridge and is welded together with another of the same popsicle to create a shape card. I added some dew drops I had recently ordered from Robin's Nest  to add more glitter and the melting effect. The Brrrr sentiment comes from the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge. Tip: just because the cartridge is for a specific seas...

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room 25 Days of Christmas, with 25 Cricut projects a day. Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today.... and every day in December. http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com TODAY'S THEME IS SNOW PLAY For this theme I decided to do another layout. I had some great pictures of my kids playing in the snow from last year and its definitely time to get those scrapped. This gave me a good start. For this layout I used the Winter Frolic and Winter Woodland cartridges to embellish this simple page. The sledding hills, the cute sledding boy, and the title were cut from the Winter Frolic Cartridge and the snowman was from the Winter Woodland Cartridge. These are two of my favorite winter carts, I can't use them or recommend them enough!!! I hope that you are inspired to create this Christmas Season! Blessings to you and your family! See you on December 7th when I get to show you another project!
