Scrap Queen

 My daughter, son, and I all had the chance to be members of the crowd at the concert in the movie "Home Sweet Home" staring Natasha Bure and Ben Elliot. My kiddos got to meet Sarah Kim who played the lead's friend, Sarah. Natasha even waved and smiled at Grace as she walked by. Being an extra was so much fun! We hope to be able to do it again someday. For these photos I used an old sketch from the Stick It Down blog and a challenge from the  Lasting Memories  challenge blog. The challenge was to use a Book title. My Layout: I used the title from this book "Home Sweet Home" as it was the same title as the movie.  "Taco about a big Boy"  My nephew turned 2 on July 4th, 2019 and he had a Taco Twosday birthday party. It was such a fun day of celebrating him and celebrating Independence Day!   There is an awesome campground near our home. They have a disc golf course there that is so fun. You get to walk through the trees as you play.  In 2019 we had season passes to Silverwood Theme park and we literally spent the entire summer there. Much of the time at Bolder Beach water park.  One of our favorite places to spend the summer is at our local amusement park, Silverwood . The water park is the best place to be on a hot day and we spent plenty of time there!  Grace has been interested in acting for a long time now. She signed with MAM Talent in October of 2018 and has since been a few local and national commercials. Whenever there is an opportunity to working on her acting skills we usually try and take it. This photo was taken at the end of a Meisner Acting Workshop given by Lisa Skvarla. It was a such a great experience for her and was fun being the youngest actress in attendance.  I used a scraplift layout challenge from Scrap Our Stash to create this layout.  One of our favorite places to go is a downtown bakery called Woops  . We love their baked goods, especially their macaroons. Not to mention their coffee is so good!!! My daughter has been a brand rep and teen influencer now for a couple of years. Sometimes I'm able to talk my son into letting me photograph him in a small shop T-shirt. Here is one of the times I was able to pull him in.  Grace and Taylor have been friends since kindergarten. They have been two peas in a pod since the day they met. Started out that they were neighbors but then both of us moved out of the neighborhood. We still live nearby, at least in the same state (the next door state of Idaho) about 15 drive from each other.   My daughter landed the lead in a local RV commercial last year, Blue Dog RV . She had a blast playing the part of the Orientation Specialist. She had quite a few lines and some changed the day of the shoot. She was a trooper and amazed the director with her ability to memorize so quickly. It was also my son's first time being in a commercial. Unfortunately, his part ended up on the cutting room floor. But, if you look closely you can see him in the background in the beginning of the commercial. Tough breaks. He was part of the day so on the layout he goes!
