Let's Scrap Sketch LO 4-9-14

Image
Another fun sketch is up at Let's Scrap  so it's time to get to scrapping! This weeks sketch is sponsored by Here's the sketch: Here's my take: My kids were invited to a friends birthday. At the party they took pictures of all the kids with fun hats, glasses, and other accessories. It was a lot of fun and I had to scrap it! To create this layout I used Paper Studio - Uptown Flair paper, glitter primas and a journal card made my Fancy Pants Designs. The "Party" title was cut using the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut cartridge. And besides a great sketch  Let's Scrap  is having a Design Team Call! If you are interested you will need to create a layout based on the following sketch and follow the instructions to apply that you will find on the  Let's Scrap  main page. And, I will say it is a lot of fun being a DT member of  Let's Scrap ! Till next time Blessings!

Be Ye Thankful

Image
It's time for another challenge coming from the Fantabulous Cricut Blog  and this week we are looking forward to Thanksgiving and all it stands for.  The challenge this week is to make a Thank You card, sweet and simple.  Check out mine below. I used my Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge for the Thank you and the Gyspy Wanderings off my gyspy for the base that the sentiment is sitting on.  I added some corners and crinkle ribbon to embellish my card. Now, it's your turn. Head on over to the  Fantabulous Cricut Blog  and upload  your Thank you card!

Thank You Blog Hop

Image
Welcome to Cooking With Cricut’s very special SURPRISE “Thank You” Blog Hop. Why is it so special? There are a couple of reasons! The first reason -- it is our 100th Cooking With Cricut challenge and the second (and most important) is to thank our wonderful leader and “Executive Chef” Melinda Beltran. Melin started the Cooking With Cricut challenges in October 2010 to encourage crafters to find new and different ways to use their Cricut cartridges. And she has accomplished that and so much more! She has given scores of crafters a place on her Design Teams which quickly turned into a sisterhood of women, who care for each other; who encourage each other; who lift each other and their families up in prayer; and who have shared their hearts and their art through many outreach projects. So this is our SURPRISE “Thank You” tribute to our beloved Melin! If you came from  Charlotte's blog ,  you’re in the right place! If you’ve joined us in mid-hop and would like to start at t...

Easel Card Blog Hop

Image
Welcome to the Easel Card Blog Hop! This will be a fun filled day of hopping through a great lineup to see some awesome easel cards.  Each blogger is completing an easel card to show you, each with  her own style and flair.  I am so excited about this hop, because I find easel cards a challenge. And, I love a challenge. If you have just come from Melissa's blog  you are in the right place. If you are just arriving and would like to start from the beginning of the line up go to Ashley's blog .  So now it's time to scroll on down to see my easel card! This was a fun card to make. I saw this card on Pintrest , which lead me to a fabulous blog, addINKtive designs . I used her easel card as inspiration for mine. To make my card I used DCWV paper from the All Dressed Up stack and Gypsy Wanderings to create my sentiment base and my pretty flower. A little bit of glitter and a fun embossed stamp and viola!  Ok confession, not so easy this was actually my sec...

Snowman Card

Image
This card was fun to make. On the Creative Cutter Room blog they are have a fun challenge where your are to create a project using a snowman and three elements that are decided by her design team. This is the card I came up with. I embossed my snowman which I cut from the Gypsy Wanderings cart on my gypsy. I used the color blue for my monochromatic color scheme. I used metal blue sparkle brads for my metal peice. And, I used a ribbon to create a border between my snowman and my sentiment. I am, also, entering this card into the following challenges: My Pink Stamper's 12 Days of Christmas: Day 3!: make a holiday card The Paper Variety : Anything Goes Scrap-Creations : Snow Cards Lawnscaping Challenge : Texture Challenge
