I Love You

Image
I love finding new blogs and places to find inspiration. This week I stumbled upon Stuck?!  or Stuck Sketches. Great site for some great sketch challenges. I loved the one they had up this month and decided I would try it. Here is their sketch: And here is my take on it: I used a sketch by Laura Whitaker from Scrapping around the clock blog. I used two different DCWV stacks. I used the Linen Closet Stack from 2010 and the Cinnamon Luster Stack from 2012. To embellish the layout I cut the banner from the Lovely Floral cart, the title came from the Jasmine cart, and the arrows came from the Graphically Speaking cartridge. I, also, entered this sketch in a challenge on  My Scraps and More  forum. Here they have challenges running daily as well as fun crop events and more. Check them out! Till next time,

Merry Christmas!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY  JESUS! For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 Merry Christmas!

BBQing

What says more about summer than BBQing? It's one of my favorite things and we do it a lot! Although I have to admit, I probably like it more because that means I don't have to cook :) LOL! So, this week's challenge on the Fantabulous Cricut  blog is to make a project using hotdog, hamburger etc (bbq foods). Since we tend to have a lot of BBQs at our house I decided to create an invitation! Check it out. The BBQer and the BBQ & steak cuts came from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, the Sentiment "You're Invited" came from the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge, and the "BBQ" came from the Jasmine Cricut Cartridge.  I had to use a steak because I love my steak and it's my favorite thing to eat off the BBQ!!! The background paper comes from Me And My Big Ideas Boy stack. Mmmm I'm hungry! Now it's your turn. Upload your creation to Fantabulous Cricut !

National Hot Cocoa Day and Glitter New Years Card

Hello and welcome to another Monday challenge at Fantabulous Cricut . It is national hot cocoa day and that is the theme of this weeks challenge. We are asked to create a project either with a cup, chocolate, or some brown colored paper. Check out my project below and then create your own and upload it to the Fantabulous Cricut blog for your chance to be a winner! For this challenge I decided to make a wall decor item for my kitchen. I used the Wall Decor and More cricut cartridge for the coffee cup. It is cut out in some metallic brown paper with glitter beige paper for the cup shadow/background. The Coffee Time word phrase came from the From My Kitchen cricut cartridge, also cut in the same paper as the cup.  Thank you Fantabulous for giving me yet another excuse to make something for my walls!!!  *********************************************** Monday Challenge With Made Especially 4 You This week the challenge is to use glitter.
