For his birthday my 5 year, at the time, choose to go to Red Lobster for his birthday dinner. He wanted shrimp - his and my daughters favorite thing to eat. They love to pet the lobsters there, which they generally get to do if it's not too busy. Fortunately, it wasn't too busy and they got some lobster time! The Sketch?!  blog had a good sketch, so I decided to use it for the lobster pics. Summer Break, literally!

Image
I really haven't scrapped much this summer. I always think that I will get so much done during the summer break and I don't know why I'm so surprised every year at how busy it ends up being. Not complaining at all, I promise. The summer has been great and we've done a lot of great things such as VBS, a trip to Arizona, time at the lake, park days, pool days, lazy days. Yes, it's been a good summer and it's not quite over yet! We've got two more weeks till school starts and I'm feeling the pressure to get in as much summer as I possibly can and eager at the same time to get back to a routine! If that makes any sense?! This week my 8 year old daughter decided she wanted to learn to use the Cricut, so of course I had to teach her! Its always been something I was hoping for - to have mother daughter crafting time! So, this is what we've been doing all weekend - literally :) And she caught on really quickly. I showed her what to do and she was off!
