I usually go in and check out the kids before I turn in the for the night. One night I went in to check on my daughter and found her sound asleep with her leg propped up on the other knee. I had to take a picture and scrap it. I decided to use a sketch from a blog called
Stuck?!
Here's the sketch:
Here's my take:
I cut the circles out using the George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge. I am, also, entering this layout in the 12 Days of Christmas online crop for
My Scraps and More. I will be using it for the 7th day of Christmas challenge.
The below layout was done using a sketch from
Let's Scrap. I did this layout for a challenge being held by one of the DT members.
Here's the sketch:
Here's my take on it:
The Rules:
1. Use Sketch 7-29-09(I love the "collage" effect of this sketch and I thought it would be very appropriate, also it is from 2009)
2. At least THREE NON-PAPER embellishments must be used, one of which must be metal (please mention the embellishments you use)
I used: a metal horseshoe for my piece of metal, prima flowers, buttons, and bling (on the title)
3. No inking, painting or misting - you can chalk the edges of the paper and stamps may be used
I did chalk the edges of the paper with colorbox brown chalk.
4. No washi tape
5. No banners, flags or chevrons
The title came from the Stamping Cricut Cartridge and the paper is from the DCWV's Peachy Keene stack.
Thanks for looking at my layouts!
Till next time,
