Every year I go with to a scrapbook retreat with my friend Jennifer. It is a long weekend of scrapbooking, eating, drinking wine and talking with friends. Sometimes we go for a walk, but it's a short one because we can't waste too much time on exercise. LOL. I decided to use a couple of photos from our 2019 retreat and a sketch from the Scrap Our Stash Challenge blog.  My Layout: The Sketch: To Create this layout I used: Bella Blvd Illustrated Faith: Bright & Brave American Crafts: "Whimsical" chipboard thickers Bits and Pieces Cricut Design Space Image: Banner Washi tape from my stash Thank you for stopping by!  I don't know what it is about photos of people walking but I like them. These photos of the kids walking around at Silverwood Amusement Park  are so cute. I believe these photos were taken by my friend Gina. I used some really wild papers for this layout. Working on My Acting

Grace has been interested in acting for a long time now. She signed with MAM Talent in October of 2018 and has since been a few local and national commercials. Whenever there is an opportunity to working on her acting skills we usually try and take it. This photo was taken at the end of a Meisner Acting Workshop given by Lisa Skvarla. It was a such a great experience for her and was fun being the youngest actress in attendance.  I used a scraplift layout challenge from Scrap Our Stash to create this layout. Time to Fly

Image
During the summer of 2018 we had a season pass to Silverwood. We went to the amusement park frequently so I have a lot of Silverwood photos to scrap. I decided to just showcase some highlight in our family album so we don't have a ton of layouts about the same thing. In this layout I focused on rides that go really high up in the air. Panic Plunge and Spin Cycle - two rides my son enjoys going on.  I used a sketch from Sketch n Scrap  to scrapbook these photos. New Coat of Paint

Image
I am a Guest Designer at  Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenges  this month! And, I'm so excited to share the figth and final layout challenge for the month!  I decided to continue scrapping our move into our current home. We had decided to replace the carpets sooner rather than later due to the carpets smelling poorly after being shampooed. They needed replacing anyway, so why wait?! Since the carpets were pulled up we decided to pain the entire upstairs. It became a family affair and of course I took photos of everyone doing their part! My Layout : The Challenge: The challenges for April are all going to be word challenges where you use scrappy items or techniques for every letter of the word for that week.  This Week's Word is: RAIN Red Arrows Illustrated Faith New Coat of Paint - title To Create this Layout I used: We R Memory Keepers: Sports paper stack Illustrated Faith: Bright and Brave - arrow tab an...
