Recent Layouts to Get Caught Up

Here are some of my more recent layouts.

I recently participated in a challenge were we were to use chipboard on a layout. I took it a step further and challenged myself to using only chipboard for my embellishments on the layout. Here is the result.

Sports Mania

Image
My husband played church league softball a couple of years ago, and yes I'm just now getting to scrapping it. I'm so behind! I used the Sports Mania cricut cartridge to do the first page of this layout.

Scrapping Antiquities Pictures

For a recent fundraiser for our local Teen Mops group we worked with Antiquities . I think our pictures turned out amazing and they were really fun to scrap.

Glitter and Stamping

Image
I'm sure I'm not the first to try this but instead of coloring in the stamps with colored pencils like I normally would, I decided to color them in with glitter. They turned out ok, but I did have issues getting it to look smooth. Not too bad for a first attempt, though.

A Trip to the Zoo

Image
We took a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo and of course took many pictures. I decided to make a mini album that showcased just a few of the pics we took that day. I used the Animal Kingdom Cartridge to create the animals that I used for the album.

Train Birthday Banner and New Your Story

Image
My son turned 2 recently and has a small obsession with trains, well anything with wheels and or flys. So, I decided to do a simple train theme for his birthday. I made his birthday banner using Create a Critter cartridge for the train cars carrying the letters, Everyday Paper Dolls for the caboose and the conductor, and Boys will be Boys for the engine. I just got the Yours Story Book Binder and Laminator, so I decided to laminate each part of the train so that it would last longer and plan to put it up in his room as wall decor. All in all it turned out pretty good!
