What is better than shopping for Disney souvenirs, or at least in our case previewing the shopping potential? We'll actually shop for souvenirs much later in the trip. At any rate this was an amazing start to an amazing trip. Let's Scrap has a great sketch that I decided to use for these pictures.

Let's Scrap - Wonder

Yes, I know all my layouts are all about Walt Disney World - but it is going to continue. That is my current project - Disney Album and I'm having a blast with it! This is also a little out of character for me, as I usually like to scrap everything in order. Well, my regular family album is on hold to scrap our vacation album and though it is bothering me a little (I'll admit) I am having too good a time scrapping the current to satisfy my need for order.

Let's Scrap - Lightening McQueen

On our arrival to Florida, Disney Springs was promoting the new Cars 3 movie, it was the first day of the event and after checking into our hotel we had a half an hour to visit with Lightening McQueen and friends. I hadn't told the kids in case we didn't get to Disney Springs in time to see it all, so they were excited to see the life size Lightening McQueen waiting to greet them! 

The pics of the meet and greet were perfect for the Let's Scrap sketch!

It's in the Details

One of the best things about being in Walt Disney World or Disneyland is how much detail is in everything you see! There is so much you could never see it all! On our walk down to see the It's a Bugs Life attraction there was so much to see - all the animals carved into the rock that lined each side of the pathway. It was amazing. To scrap the couple of pics I managed to take I used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy!
