Tickle Doctor

Image
This week on Let's Scrap there was a fun sketch to complete. I had some pictures I took of Elijah at the dentist office that I thought would be great for the sketch. The Sketch: My Take: My kids have never had much of an issue going to the Dentist, and to me that's a good thing - as I have never liked it! They call our dentist the Tickle Doctor and I had to scrap it. The title comes from the Jubilee Cricut Cartridge and the toothbrush comes from the Chore Chart cartridge. The papers come from DCWV's The Guy stack. The dentist tools are from a sticker pack from Jolee's Boutique. Till Next Time,

Tough Guy/Girl

Creative Scrappers  had a fun sketch for their current challenge. I decided to try it out using the pictures from my nephew's birthday party. My sister did this awesome backyard party where there was an obstacle course to drive in their power wheels jeep, a dart gun challenge, bow shooting, crafts, and more. My sister is a genius when it comes to kid birthday parties. I decided to use the dart gun and bow shooting pictures for this page.  Here's the Sketch: Here's my take on it: The paper comes from DCWV's The Guy Stack. I used lots of embellishments from my stash to decorate my page. I used a sticker arrow (next to the buttons) and put it through my xyron backwards to make it sticky on both sides. Then I added to twine to one side of it. I think it turned out fun! Till next time,

Christmas Past

Image
In honor of the holidays I thought I'd repost some Christmas projects!  I love this time of the year. It's a time to remember what Christ did for us and how much He loves us! What an honor it is to be called a child of God! Enjoy the pics! May the Lord bless you! Merry Christmas! Till next time, and many blessings,

Farm Fresh Pumpkins!

Image
As we do each year we did last year. Yup still a year behind, but I'm getting there. Here is a layout I put together using this weeks sketch from the Let's Scrap challenge Forum. Here's the sketch: Here's my layout: I used the Linen Closet paper stack from DCWV to create this layout. I cut the title "Farm Fresh" using the Country Life Cricut Cartridge. I added some chipboard from my stash to further embellish the page. Thanks, for checking out my layout! Till next time, Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Dreaming and Friendship

I usually go in and check out the kids before I turn in the for the night. One night I went in to check on my daughter and found her sound asleep with her leg propped up on the other knee. I had to take a picture and scrap it. I decided to use a sketch from a blog called Stuck?! Here's the sketch: Here's my take: I cut the circles out using the George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge. I am, also, entering this layout in the 12 Days of Christmas online crop for My Scraps and More . I will be using it for the 7th day of Christmas challenge. The below layout was done using a sketch from Let's Scrap . I did this layout for a challenge being held by one of the DT members. Here's the sketch: Here's my take on it: The Rules: 1. Use  Sketch 7-29-09 (I love the "collage" effect of this sketch and I thought it would be very appropriate, also it is from 2009) 2.  At least THREE NON-PAPER embellishments must be used,

Family Vacation

Image
My Scraps and More is having a fun online crop: 12 Days of Christmas! I'm a little slow on the uptake, but here is my day 1 challenge based of the following sketch: For this layout I used two Cricut cartridges. The title comes from the Summer Vacation Cart and the bicycle comes from the Just Because Cards cart. The stickers in the lower left corner are from 7 Gypsies. Oh yes, and the little bird comes from the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge. Sorry, I forgot about that little guy. If this this sketch looks like fun, head on over to the  My Scraps and More  forum and join in the fun! Till next time,

Sparkle and Bling Card

Image
The challenge over at the  Fantabulous Cricut blog is all about sparkle and bling. And since I love sparke and bling I had to enter. So, here is my card! For this card I used the tag feature for my card base from the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge. The image on the front comes from the same cartridge. I used Jewels to embellish the ornaments on the trees. The bird was cut with glitter paper and the already shiny and I outlined the design with stickles on the embossed card pattern paper.  Very fun challenge, thank you Fantabulous Cricut ! Till next time,
