I don't know what it is about photos of people walking but I like them. These photos of the kids walking around at Silverwood Amusement Park  are so cute. I believe these photos were taken by my friend Gina. I used some really wild papers for this layout. It's so busy it's almost too much but I think I'm kind of in love with it.  To scrap these photos I used a challenge on the Rochelle Spears and the Scrap With Stacy blogs. I will also enter this layout in a challenge from the A Cherry on Top forum.  My Layout: The Sketch from  Rochelle Spears The Tic Tac Toe Challenge from  Scrap With Stacy I included embellie clusters, vellum, and foam letters The Embellishment Challenge from  A Cherry on Top list of ingredients: 1. Blue Dog RV

Image
My daughter landed the lead in a local RV commercial last year, Blue Dog RV . She had a blast playing the part of the Orientation Specialist. She had quite a few lines and some changed the day of the shoot. She was a trooper and amazed the director with her ability to memorize so quickly. It was also my son's first time being in a commercial. Unfortunately, his part ended up on the cutting room floor. But, if you look closely you can see him in the background in the beginning of the commercial. Tough breaks. He was part of the day so on the layout he goes! If you want to check out the commercial click HERE .  My Take on the Sketch: The Sketch: To Create this Layout I used: Amy Tangerine: Sketchbook paper stack Suburbia Cricut Design Space - camper When I Was a Kid - film strip (title base) Simple Celebrations - font Video camera and Clapper - FreePik Miss Kate's Cuttables - fimstrip Kaisercraft: Distressed Overlays Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Scrap Friends

Image
There is one event that I look forward to all  year long! It's the annual Scrapbooking Retreat that happens on October. I go with my friends and my sister and her/our friends. It is, without a doubt, so much fun. What could be better than spending an entire weekend doing nothing but scrapbooking and chatting with your friends?! There is a short hike and great view near the lodge where we stay and every year we try to get a little bit of exercise and then show that we did by taking a selfie at the top. To scrapbook this selfie I used a sketch from Sketch n Scrap .  The Layout: These are my scrap friends :) The Sketch: Another look at my layout: To Create this Layout I used: Carta Bella: Hello Again paper pack Miss Kate's Cuttables: banner Alexis Mattox - Emma Rae font - tag font Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge - tag Blueberry Regular system font via DS Carpe Diem: Faith - decorative clip twine Thank you so much for stoppi...

New Coat of Paint

Image
I am a Guest Designer at  Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenges  this month! And, I'm so excited to share the figth and final layout challenge for the month!  I decided to continue scrapping our move into our current home. We had decided to replace the carpets sooner rather than later due to the carpets smelling poorly after being shampooed. They needed replacing anyway, so why wait?! Since the carpets were pulled up we decided to pain the entire upstairs. It became a family affair and of course I took photos of everyone doing their part! My Layout : The Challenge: The challenges for April are all going to be word challenges where you use scrappy items or techniques for every letter of the word for that week.  This Week's Word is: RAIN Red Arrows Illustrated Faith New Coat of Paint - title To Create this Layout I used: We R Memory Keepers: Sports paper stack Illustrated Faith: Bright and Brave - arrow tab an...
