Let's Scrap - Metal Mouth

Image
Grace was getting a retainer. She was not happy about this at all! But cousin Rick was gentle! I am definitely one of those scrappers, couldn't help taking a photo of her in the chair! Let's Scrap had a fun sketch and I decided to use the right side of the sketch for my layout! The Sketch: My Layout: To Create this layout I used: My Mind's Eye: Filled With Love paper stack Basic Grey: Capture - Vellum die cuts Bella Blvd: Oh My Stars - tabbies Dr. Checkup: "Metal Mouth" title Okieladybug  svg cut - You Are My Sunshine layout  (I manipulated this layout svg so that I only used the sun rays for the top of my layout) Thank you so much for stopping by! Blessings,

New Puppy!

Remembering back to the end of 2017 the biggest standout for memories was when daddy said the kids could get a puppy! We had talked about it for a long time and had even gone and looked at the animal shelters. We had decided that for us we needed a hypoallergenic dog and that starting with a puppy that we could train would be best for us. My sister had a friend who's friend had Golden Doodle puppies that had just been born, on November 21st. We got in contact with her and she reserved us a puppy. We were so excited! We started getting ready for picking her up, which would be right after the first of the year. We decided that her name would be Ahsoka (from Clone Wars, big star wars fans in my house). The kids enjoyed all the prepping, including playing around in Ahsoka's crate. The breeder was so sweet! She sent us pictures of our puppy as she grew! For this layout I used a sketch from the Sketch n Scrap challenge blog. The Sketch: My Take: To Create t

War Binder

She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . I looked into this War binder thing a little more closely and decided that that is exactly what I wanted to do with my Planner. I spent a lot of time looking around on FB and Pinterest to get ideas and eventually just decided that I just needed to start it.  I have struggled with making time for Bible Study and prayer in th

Let's Scrap - I love Vacation

Let's Scrap has a challenging sketch up on their blog! I loved working with it. I decided for the photos I had that I would use the right side of this sketch. I loved the idea of the long tags for the photo bases. I used photos from our trip to the Seattle Science Center.  The Sketch: My Layout: To Make this Layout I Used: Recollections: All Occasion paper stack Project Life: Everyday - photo overlay Project Life: Explore - paper clips My Mind's Eye: stickers Heidi Swapp: Vellum Ephemera Bits & Pieces Cricut Cartridge: 3 long tags Family Album Cricut Cartridge: title Thank you so much for stopping by!
