Scrap Queen

I decided to enter a couple of card challenges. I can always use some cards on stand by. I used the sketch from the  Die Cuttin Divas  blog and I used daisies for the challenge on the Bitten by the Bug 2 blog. I've been working on some baby scrapbooks for some friends who were expecting! Which has been so fun! Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is running a baby challenge so I had to enter! Back again with yet another great sketch from  Sketch-N-Scrap ! I thought that this sketch was perfect for the pics I tool of my son at the library! Here he is really just starting to get into reading books for himself. It really is so great to see him take such an interest in reading, makes my heart happy! Today I just want to share a few of the simple layouts I have completed for my family album. This layout was super simple. I used a paper from the DCWV The Green Stack and simply added pictures and a title. The title comes from the Kate's ABC's Cricut cartridge. This layout, again a super easy and quick one was put together using paper from Canvas Corp. and the cricut cartridge Stand and Salute. Canvas Corp again for the paper and trendy twine for a little embellishment. This layout is based of a Newspaper plane. It reminded me of my favorite movie and now Broadway play Newsies! So, I had to have my husband get a picture of me in front of the plane! The newspaper came from the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge and I honestly can't remember which cart I used for the title. This weeks challenge at Cut It Up is all about love! The challenge is to create a project for Valentines day and the only rule: Make sure you have a diecut. For my card I used a new cartridge that I recently acquired and have wanted for quite awhile. Using my gyspy I welded together the girl pushing the buggy from the Kate's ABC's Cricut Cartridge. I cut out the cat on the front of the card and replaced it with a heart, but I left the cat on the back of the card.
