I want to share about another great site for scrapbookers. This forum is called My Scraps and More . I love this forum because they always have something going on there. If you like online crops and games than this is a great site to check out. Right now they have a Sketch-a-thon going on that runs until Sunday, April 7th. At this point I have completed the first three layout sketches. And, of course I will share them with you here! Falling Leaves

Image
Welcome to another Monday challenge at Fantabulous Cricut . This week we are honoring the leaves that fallen to provide the way for winter to come and then spring and then. . . ok  you get the idea and I guess I'm feeling a little dramatic this morning. LOL. This is my favorite time of year, mostly because I love the colors of fall. I love the feeling in the air and the cooler weather and I love the fall paper lines!!! Ok I'll get my project :) I decided to create a layout for my family scrapbook. One of the things we love to do in the fall is to visit the farms. So, I made this layout using the following Cricut Cartridges: Tree - Stretch Your Imagination Leaves - Straight From the Nest Phrase - Country Life Well, now it's your turn. Create away and then upload your creation to  Fantabulous Cricut .

Thank You Card

Image
This week at Cut It Up  we are getting into the swing of Thanksgiving, as it is soon approaching. This is the time of year that we make an effort to voice our thankfulness and that is exactly what we want to do for this challenge. We are asked to make a Thank You card that includes a digital or stamped image and a die-cut. Don't forget that die-cut :) Here's mine. For this card I used the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut Cartridge to cut out the bird house. I embossed it to give it a little texture and then cut out a tag using the Tags, Bags, and Boxes Cricut Cartridge. On the tag I used a definition stamp that had the definition of thanks and then I heat embossed it using some copper colored embossing powder and versa mark ink. I hope you enjoyed my card and now it is your turn to go to  Cut It Up  and link up your creation!

Spooky Themes at Cut It Up

Image
Now I have prefrace this post with the fact that I am not a big fan of Halloween, therefore, this challenge was indeed a challenge. This wee at Cut It Up Halloween is right around the corner. We are asked to create a Halloween/spooky themed project. Include a die-cut. Challenge ends Oct. 31 at noon EST. I decided to make a more cutsie spooky card. Check it out: I used two cartridges for this card. The bird ghost and the spooky word come from the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut Catridge and the bird house comes from the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut Catridge. I totally forgot to mention here that I used twine from   Trendy Twine !  Thank you  Trendy Twine ! Now, it's your turn! Head on over to Cut It Up and link up your Spooky project!

25 Days of Christmas December 22nd

Image
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room 25 Days of Christmas, with 25 Cricut projects a day. Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today.... and every day in December. http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com TODAY'S THEME IS GINGERBREAD For today's theme I choose to do a layout. Every year it is tradition for the youngest in the family to decorate gingerbread men, or houses, with homemade icing and as much candy as you can fit on the poor gingerbread man. Featured in the above layouts are my two adorable children and my two handsome nephews working hard on their gingerbread men. To embellish this layout I decided to use a different gingerbread man to represent each of the different children. The gingerbread men come from the following cartridges: From My Kitchen, My Community, Winter Frolic, and Stretch Your Imagination. The gingerbread house comes from the My Community cartridge.  I hope that you are inspired to create this Christmas Season! Bles...
