Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge! Challenge #30 7 -At the Beach Make a project about anything beachy! This Weeks Sponsor Dreaming Tree SVG's The winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate! To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images. If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing! Here is my project- To create this card I used the chair card cut from the Life is a Beach cartridge. I cut the sand and water images out from Everyday Paper Dolls cricut cartridge and added them to orginal card cut, the sand behind the chair and the water in front. The umbrella and the chair layers I also cut using the Life is a Beach cartridge. I used Design Space to size everything to where I needed it to be. "Relax" is...

Another great sketch from Sketch N Scrap . It was perfect for continuing our Seaside, Oregon vacation pictures. Not only that but you will see another layout completed by my 9 year old daughter using the same sketch. She has shown an interest in scrapbooking and of course I will encourage that! You'll see down below that I created a work space for her in my craft room. Now I have a scrapping buddy!!! The Sketch: My Take: Cricut Cartridges Used: Life's a Beach: Coral and Title My Daughter's Take: She has been begging to try entering one of the challenges that I like to do, so I promised her I would enter this one in the  Sketch N Scrap  challenge this month. A few more for the Sketch-a-thon

Image
Well  here's a few more for the Birthday Sketch-a-thon at My Scraps and More . The challenge was to be inspired by a dog clown picture. I used the colors and the polka dots as my inspiration for this layout. The paper comes from the DCWV The Kidlet Stack adn I used trendy twine o the tags for added embellishment. The challenge was to use a song title for the layout title. I choose to use a song by Laura Veirs "Cool Water" The title was cut out using the Country Life Cricut Cartridge, the circles using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge, and the paper comes from the DCWV Sunday Afternoon paper stack. The challenge for this layout was to use journaling strips. I'm not much of a journaler so I used word strips for my layout.  The title comes from the font feature on the Country Life Cricut cartridge and George and Basic Shapes was used for the circles. I used my gypsy to create the thin circle outlines. The paper comes from the DCWV Sunday Aft...

Here are some more fun layouts for your enjoyment. The first is based of a sketch that Let's Scrap had up for a recent challenge. I only used the right side to enter the challenge and my take is below. This was a very fun layout to make. I used DCWV's My Sunshine Stack. I used the Create a Critter and the Lovely Floral Cricut Cartridges for the flags and the banner at the bottom.  This layout used the Boys Will Be Boys and Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridges. The paper is from DCWV's My Sunshine Stack. The title on this layout is cut from the Life's a Beach Cricut Cartridge. Till next time,

Baby Book

Image
A very good friend of mine recently had her baby boy and instead of going out to buy her something I decided to make her a baby book.  And of course I have to share here with all of you! Now, I did use the cricut for a lot of this album. The calender pages were all cut using the Designers Calendar Cricut Cartridge. Other cartridges used include A Child's Year, Life's a Beach, Animal Kingdom, Boys Will Be Boys, and Accent Essentials. Till next time,
