Target Practice

Image
When we go camping we love to bring the BB Guns and set up targets to shot. I didn't get a photo of our targets but they were empty water bottles and soda cans filled with river water. Works pretty good! To scrap this layout I used a sketch from the Lasting Memories Challenge blog . This month is all about sketches, which also happens to be my favorite way of scrapbooking. Which is probably very obvious if you scroll through my blog. Disc Golf

Image
We love to go camping with my parents and one of the places we like to go is Farragut State Park . They have 4 different disc golf courses which are a blast to play on. What could be better than trying not to lose your disc in the woods? And no we haven't lost one  yet.  For this layout I used a sketch from Sketches in Thyme . This layout is being used on the challenge forum at A Cherry On Top , and I'll enter my layout there. I will also be entering a challenge on the Lasting Memories blog as well as the Scrap Our Stash blog.  My Layout: The Sketch: The Challenge on  the  Scrap Our Stash  blog:   The Challenge on the  Lasting Memories  blog: LM #484 - Stamps - Let's see some stamped images on your layout My Layout and what I used: My Mind's Eye: Simply Delightful paper stack Babette Design Space Font: quote on tag Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cricut Cartridge: tag Small Talk Frame...

Early Gift

Image
In the last few years we have started a new tradition around Christmas time. We have started to have an early family gift or two throughout the month before Christmas. The idea behind this is that the kids get to open an early gift and that gift leads to some quality family fun time. This year we had gotten a good deal on laser guns during Black Friday. Instead of saving them we decided to make this the early family gift! It was a huge hit and even Jason and I had fun running around shooting at the kids.  To scrap this these photos I used a sketch from the Sketch n Scrap blog, one of my favorite sketch challenge sites.  The Sketch: My Layout: To Create this Layout: Fancy Pants Designs: Happy Holidays by Jackie Eckles - Snowfall paper Christmas tag and sticker from my stash Heidi Swapp: Glitter Ephemera  Bits and Pieces Cricut Cartridge: banner 'Awesome' Cricut Font and Pen: title Washi tape from stash Thank you so much for ...

I love taking pictures of my kids and their friends. It just makes my heart happy to see them happy with good kids in their lives. I decided to use a sketch from the  Scrap Our Stash  blog. #awesomekid Layout

Image
I have so enjoyed taking pictures of my kids wearing their favorite outfits. As I catch up on all the pictures I need to scrap from the last couple of years, you'll see a lot more of this - I am sure. I decided to use a sketch from the  Let's Get Sketchy  challenge blog. Elijah was wearing a T-shirt and Trucker Hat from one of our favorite small shops, Onxy Avenue Apparel , in this pictures. We love the monochromatic look of the black and white clothing. This T-shirt, especially, was one that I washed and he wore - repeat!  The Sketch: My Take: As you can see I did take a pretty big detour as I put this one together, but I promise you that this layout was entirely inspired by the sketch above.  To Create this Layout: The Paper Studio: Ninth Street paper stack Me & My Big Ideas:  paper stickers Heidi Swapp: Chipboard pieces  Pebbles: Photo Overlay Jot: popup "Boy" sticker Thank you so much for stopping by! ...

I Love My Daughter

Image
One of the things I love to do is take my kiddos out on dates alone. On this particular day it was time to take my daughter out for some mommy and daughter time. She loves the idea of coffee, even though I do not let her have actual coffee. She gets hot chocolate. But, I do like to take her on an occasional coffee date just her and I. Being a scrapper we had to take a selfie with our coffee cups! I used a sketch from the Let's Get Sketchy blog .  The Sketch: And My Take: To Create this Layout I used: DCWV: Flower Shop paper stack Project Life: Love Life - photo overlay Pebbles - Epherma - & Cricut Cartridge: Love You a Latte - coffee cup Design Space - to write title on cup Computer Font - Axettac Demo Carpe Diem - decorative "love" clip Lovesvg.com - title "I love my daughter" Heidi Swapp: vellum epherma - butterfly Thank you so much for stopping by!
