Scrap Queen

 We don't go bowling often because my kids like it but don't love it. I took some photos when we went with some friends. Figured I better scrap one of the few times we actually bowl! To scrap these photos I used a sketch challenge from the Sketch n Scrap challenge blog . I changed it a little bit to add a second photo.       I'm so excited to announce that I get to be a Guest Designer at the  Lasting Memories   challenge blog for April. This weeks challenge is World Penguin Day! I used a photo I took when Grace saw herself on an advertisement poster for Global Credit Union.  Last year was Grace's first year of Jr. High. She was also going to a new school. It was a local Christian private school. This current school year we decided to back to homeschooling but this particular year was a lot of fun as they were given lockers and schedules for changing classes. She felt like such a big kid, which "sniff sniff" she is. I had to sneak these photos because it was embarrassing LOL.  I love our neighborhood so much. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see the all the neighborhood kids outside playing in the culdesac.  Every year I go with to a scrapbook retreat with my friend Jennifer. It is a long weekend of scrapbooking, eating, drinking wine and talking with friends. Sometimes we go for a walk, but it's a short one because we can't waste too much time on exercise. LOL.  We spent a lot of time at Silverwood during the summer of 2019. We had season passes and we definitely used them. This particular day at the park was devoted to a photo shoot for  Silverwood . Some of these photos were used in their advertisements.   These are my two loves, I couldn't love them more! I am so blessed to have them be my kiddos! This photo is taken at a campground in Canada.  Grace decided to get an Ombre so we scheduled some time and went in to the salon.  Grace has been interested in acting for a long time now. She signed with MAM Talent in October of 2018 and has since been a few local and national commercials. Whenever there is an opportunity to working on her acting skills we usually try and take it. This photo was taken at the end of a Meisner Acting Workshop given by Lisa Skvarla. It was a such a great experience for her and was fun being the youngest actress in attendance.  I used a scraplift layout challenge from Scrap Our Stash to create this layout. My kids love their cousins so much and any time we can get together it is always a blast. We met up at local park to hang out for a bit and of course we had to get the camera out! Sweet summer days, how I can't wait to see you again! We really enjoy hanging out at my sister's house.
