Snow Days

Well I finally decided to start working on my family scrapbook. I have taken a pretty long break from layouts, only here and there. But, it's about time to start catching up, and yes I now have a lot of catching up to do. However, I've had fun with the break as I've been taking part in design team challenges creating paper projects, cards, and a couple layouts. 

So, here is a layout featuring my two kids playing with their neighbor in the snow.
This layout actually happened to fall under some challenge categories so I decided to enter it in some challenges. You'll see the challenge entry list at the bottom of this post.


To create this layout I used the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge for the Snow Day title and I used the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge for the Snow Much Fun title as well as the sleds sitting on the circles and the snowman between Snow and Day.
I embellished my layout using some red and white twine (one of my newest favorite ways to embellish my projects)

    Love, love your layout Jamie! I too am behind, way, way behind as I took a break from layouts a while back. But we've gotten started back to doing them again and that's all that matters!! The papers you used are just fabulous, I love your snowman placed in your title and love your title along the side! You've used some awesome die cuts on this fabulous layout!! War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . I looked into this War binder thing a little more closely and decided that that is exactly what I wanted to do with my Planner. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
