And here is my very first sewing project!


A cover for my sewing machine. I followed a tutorial that I discovered off Pinterest.

And, you will notice that I simplified things by not using the different pattern material to make three sections. Being my first project I didn't want things to be too complicated!

    I love this! And I really love that you just dove right in and got to sewing. It is a small world. I went to high school in Royal City, Washington, and my mom lived in Endicott till 2011. Cool "meeting" you online!

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
