Our Favorite Things Blog Candy Extravaganza

Welcome to the Our Favorite Things Blog Candy Extravaganza! You should have just come from Cely's blog. If you are just joining the hop and want to start from the beginning, please start at Dena's blog. This is going to be an amazing event!  Many of you are familiar with Oprah Winfrey's famous "Favorite Things" show where audience members walk away with an array of fabulous gifts.  It was always so fun to see how excited the audience members got with each giveaway.  Well, if you've always wished you could sit in the audience of one of those show tapings, we have the next best thing for you!

Each participant in this hop is going to share a favorite of hers.  It could be a craft-related item or a non-craft related item.  In addition to that, each blogger is giving away blog candy!  This means you have a chance to win at every stop!

Without further ado, here is the project I created for this hop:

I have been wanting to make this for my scrap room for quite awhile now and I thought that this hop would be the perfect motivation!!! I just went to Michaels and bought a large blank canvas, with a coupon of course. I painted it pink and then used brown vinyl to decorate. The Scrap Queen title comes from the Lovely Floral Cricut Lite Cartridge, the corners come from the Home Accents Cartridge and the scissors come from the Wall Decor and More Cart.

I love how this turned out! Below is a pic of the canvas hanging in my scrap room. Yes, I plan to do more on that wall. I'm thinking maybe a couple of smaller canvas with I don't know what yet on them. :) I guess you'll just have to keep checking in with me to see how it goes!

So for this hop we are supposed to give away something that represents our "favorite thing". My cricut is my favorite thing right now, so I figured I had better give a cartridge away. This one is the Basketball Cricut Solutions Cartridge.
