Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
Well, everyone I have some very exciting news - I am now a member of the Cooking With the Cricut design team. I'm so excited about this, as you all know that I am an avid fan of the working with the cricut machine in general. And now I have double the excuse to cricut create!!! This week is my first challenge for Cooking With the Cricut and the challenge is to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday by creating a project featuring your favorite Dr. Seuss book or a project that encourages reading. I choose to do the second.
I though that this would be perfect to decorate our reading nook upstairs. I will hang it above the bookcase at a later date, only because we will start painting walls soon.
I used my gypsy to weld this picture together. The reading boy and girl come from the A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge, the books in the middle come from the Wrap It Up cartridge, and the sentiment comes from the Storybook Cartridge.

I hope you enjoyed this first project that I create for Cooking With the Cricut. Now I challenge you to create something and link it up on the blog!!!
Great job, Jamie! Welcome to the CWC team!

*Gasp* You have a reading nook? I am SOOOO jealous! It's always been my dream to one day have a house where I can create a cozy little nook for reading. And if it ever happens, I may have to steal this wall-hanging from you - what a super idea! I love that it's a silhouette - so classy. :) Welcome to the CWC team! :)
