Welcome to the Shape Card Blog Hop!

Each blogger participating in this hop is featuring a shape card, meaning each card is not your traditional square greeting card. So, this exciting hop will feature all sorts of great ideas for nontraditional cards and should be inspirational!! Be sure to leave a comment at each hop stop to show all the participants a little love.

And, now for my shape card, actually cards since I ended up making two! The first card I made is pretty simple.



I made this card, orginally for a friend of mine to give to her sister. Well, I thought it was so cute I had to make one for myself! The frog came from the Pasiley Cricut Cartridge. Using my gyspy, I welded the two frogs together to create the card portion. The sentiment was cut out using the Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge and the stamped sentiment (it's your day) came from Stampin Up!


This card came completely from the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge. I used one of the card features for the card base and then added the diecut as well as the sentiment. Finished off the card with a little fiber embellishment for fun.

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
