Fantabulous Cricut Crawl: Getting Organized
Get Organized Cricut Crawl
Welcome to my blog and the Ninth Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a Blog Hop!
Well Christmas is over and with it so is 2012 and now it's time for a New Year and a little organization. I know that's what I've been doing lately; making room for new toys and more crafty stuff! ...each Design Team member will be featuring an organizational idea for the house in general, the offic, the kitchen, etc. along with at least ONE Cricut Cut.
If you've come from visiting Connie, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE.
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Get Organized" project at FCCB!
And now for my organizational project:
I turned a Cheerios cereal box into a catch all for my daughters school work and homework papers that she comes home with each day.
Now instead of accumulating on the kitchen counter they have their own place right next to the kids coat rack. Then all we have to do is empty it out when it gets full.
My cricut cut comes from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I used the letters from that cartridge to create the title: Grace Homework.
I hope you enjoyed my organizational idea!
Now it's your turn! Let's see your organizational projects! Make sure to include a Cricut Cut somewhere on your project!
Next stop..Brianna. Go see what she has in store for you today... And when you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!

Happy Crawling!
What a fun idea! I hate chasing papers and there is always one that gets misplaced. With this you can check each day that everything was completed and things that needed attention or to be signed were taken care of. Not to mention starting off with good organizational habits for students.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing and a Very Happy New Year to you! :)
love the re-purposed Cherio Box as a catch all. Definitely going to give this a try :D
ReplyDeleteI don't have any children at home but I do have bills and appointments. This is a pretty idea I could use for those documents! Thanks
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea Jamie. Too late for my girls as they have both left full time education, but an amazing way of encouraging order amongst the mounds of home work. I must remember this for my "Grandchildren of the future" he he he xhugsx Nikki
ReplyDeleteI really must try this one...Very good idea for any paper organizing.
ReplyDeleteLike the recycled use of the cereal box for homework keeper. Brings back memories of when my daughter was younger. She is now a junior in college. I keep the cereal boxes to uase as chipboard and my Tim Holtz Vagabond cuts multiple pieces of the chipboard. Wonderful New Year's Resolution organization project.

Great project idea. I don't have children in school but I could use this for the mail that litters the counter everyday. TFS

ahhhh I am sooo using this idea for next year when my oldest heads off to K! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThis is a GREAT idea! I'd love to have every parent have a special place for homework like that so that it could be easily found in the morning. (I'm a teacher, can you tell?) The other day I had a parent calling in 45 minutes AFTER school started to say that she had finally found it and would bring it in when she came to town after lunch. This for a high school student!!! I'm still laughing about that one.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea.. I can see my kids making these too-
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! My daughter also creates a disaster by the door when she comes in LOL. And my son does too. Maybe we will give this a shot! (The trick is getting them to use it. haha)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea..and love that it is recycling the box too. Adding this to my list of great organizational tools to try for the new year. Wishing you a wonderful 2013!
ReplyDeleteRhonda :)
I really like this idea. It could be adapted for so many things.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.

Super idea - as my kids are always dumping their papers in the kitchen. TFS and A Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool. This wil definitely give all those papers that come home a central location to be found.
ReplyDeleteSusie
