Yummy Yummy

Well, it's summer time and it's also a new Design Team term at the Fantabulous Cricut blog. I'm staying on and I'm so excited for this summer into fall term. The challenges already are amazing. Like today's challenge, which is to create a project with any type of summer dessert (ice cream, popsicle, fruit, etc). I knew just what I was going to do. Summer time for me means lots and lots of popsicles - my kids think if it's hot then it must be time for a popsicle! Check out my popsicle card below:

I used paper from the DCWV Nana's Kids paper stack, because it's glittery delicious!!! The popsicle is from the Sweet Shop Cricut Lite Cartridge and is welded together with another of the same popsicle to create a shape card. I added some dew drops I had recently ordered from Robin's Nest to add more glitter and the melting effect. The Brrrr sentiment comes from the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge.

Tip: just because the cartridge is for a specific season doesn't mean you can't use it for something completely different!!!
