Warm & Cozy

It has been a very snowy winter here in Idaho, which makes me think of Coffee a lot! In fact, as soon as I'm done writing this blog post I think I will go make some coffee! I needed a thank you card to give to a friend of mine who gave me a coffee card as a thank you. So, with the thought of snow and coffee I found these cute svgs that I had downloaded from Miss Kate's Cuttables. I entered this in the Miss Kate's Cuttables Facebook page January Challenge. I think it came out really cute!

(Disclaimer: no snowmen were harmed in the making of this card)

To create this card I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 and Design Space. I uploaded these really cute svg diecuts from Miss Kate's Cuttables. The base of the card is cut using the George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge. And I used Color Box pigment brush ink pad to distress the edges of my base paper.

I don't know about you but when it's cold outside all I can think about is being warm and cozy and that generally includes a warm beverage! Too bad for this adorable snowman - a warm beverage is not what he needs to be warm and cozy!

This card is what I like to refer to as a "Reusable Card". I created a pocket inside the card where I inserted note cards. You can write on one note card and leave some extra note cards behind it that are blank. Than the recipient can keep or re-gift the card they choose. I love gifts that keep on giving, don't you?
The note cards were also cut using the George & Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge.

P.S. I won the challenge and I'm featured on the Miss Kate blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Blessings,

  2. I love this card Jamie!!! The SVG cut is simply adorable and I so love that you made it where it can be used again and again! Very clever! I wish I liked coffee but I don't, so my warm beverage would be either hot chocolate or hot spiced apple cider....yum! Hugs, Brenda
