Make Me Laugh

Image
The challenge at the Cooking With Cricut blog this week is to create a project using a funny quote, saying, poem, or pun in honor of April Fool's Day. I choose to go with a pun. I'm sorry in need of more birthday cards, so I created this birthday card with a cute pun to go along with it. I loved this lamb that came off the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge. The sentiment came from that cartridge as well. I thought this turned out great with this fun paper that I had in my scrap drawer! Now you go create a project and link it up to the Cooking With Cricut   blog for your chance to win this weeks prize!

Out Like A Lamb

Image
This week at Fantabulous Cricut  the challenge was to create a project using a gentle animal such as a lamb, kitten, puppy, etc. I decided to go with the kitty, since they are really cute and gentle. . . well most of the time :) I decided to make a shape card with a kitten looking out the window waiting for the birthday person to come home! This is the inside of the card that features a surprise party for the lucky birthday girl! The kitty comes from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge as well as the house card (welded together using my gypsy) and the rest of the card comes from the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge. The pattern paper comes from the DCWV Nana's Kids paper stack. I hope you enjoyed my project today and I hope you will head on over to the Fantabulous Cricut  blog to link up your own project for a chance to win this weeks prize!

It's time for another challenge over at the Cooking With Cricut blog! This weeks challenge is: Welcome Spring! We are asked to create a project inspired by our favorite spring song.  (Examples:  “Spring Fever” by Elvis Presley;   “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles; “It’s a Beautiful Day” by U2; “I Got the Spring Fever Blues” by Ella Fitzgerald). My favorite spring song? Well, to be honest it's the only one I know - Singing in the Rain! I decided to create a layout for the rainy day pictures I have taken of my kids. Unfortunately, no pics yet, but here is the layout. I used the following cartridges to create this layout: 3 Birds On Parade - raindrops and embossed them Nate's ABCs - umbrella and boots Once Upon A Princess - sentiment Storybook - journal box The paper comes from the My Mind's Eye Laundry Line paper stack. I hope you enjoyed my project this week and I really hope that you will create your own and link it up at the Cookin With Cricut blog for y

In Like a Lion

Image
Welcome to another Fantabulous Cricut blog challenge. This weeks challenge is called In Like a Lion. The challenge is simple; make a project using a any sort of cat, lion, tiger, etc on it. For my project I decided to use a lion. This bookmark and the lion head on it, as well as the word all come from the Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge. I was excited for this excuse to use the cartridge, because this is one that I haven't used all that much. It is one of my first cartridges and has since been overshadowed by all the newer ones. So, I pulled it out and made a cute lion bookmark! The paper used for this bookmark was DCWV's the Animal Crackers paper stack. I hope you enjoyed my bookmark project, now I encourage you to create your own project and link it up at Fantabulous Cricut !

Well, I thought it was so cute I had to make one for myself! The frog came from the Pasiley Cricut Cartridge. Using my gyspy, I welded the two frogs together to create the card portion. The sentiment was cut out using the

Well, everyone I have some very exciting news - I am now a member of the Cooking With the Cricut  design team. I'm so excited about this, as you all know that I am an avid fan of the working with the cricut machine in general. And now I have double the excuse to cricut create!!! This week is my first challenge for Cooking With the Cricut  and the challenge is to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday by creating a project featuring your favorite Dr. Seuss book or a project that encourages reading. I choose to do the second. I used my gypsy to weld this picture together. The reading boy and girl come from the A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge, the books in the middle come from the Wrap It Up cartridge, and the sentiment comes from the Storybook Cartridge. I though that this would be perfect to decorate our reading nook upstairs. I will hang it above the bookcase at a later date, only because we will start painting walls soon. I hope you enjoyed this first project that I create
