I really need to get more cards made to have at the ready! That way I don't need to scramble and make one. I recently used up the last of my Thank you's so when I saw that Sketch n Scrap had a cute card sketch up on their blog I decided to make one. Sketch n Scrap  has yet another great layout sketch up on their blog and there is a few days left to play!! I just finished putting the finishing touches on my layout this morning, started it a couple of days ago - sometimes it just takes awhile! I love taking pictures of my kids and their friends. It just makes my heart happy to see them happy with good kids in their lives. I decided to use a sketch from the  Scrap Our Stash  blog. Every year for my birthday we have steak or go out for steak. This particular year, 2017, we went out for steak. There is a restaurant about 15-20 minutes outside Coeur d'Alene, Id called The Wolf Lodge . This place has the best steak to be found anywhere in this area. They grill their steak over an open fire and the result is just amazing! The  Bitten by the Bug 2  challenge blog has a challenge up this week. The challenge is to create a project with a heart on it. I am running low on my stock of hand made cards so I decided to participate! To create my card I used two different cut files from Design Space. The main part of the card comes from the Creative Everyday Cards cartridge. I removed the work "love" and replaced it with a heart die cut from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.  The paper comes from the My Mind's Eye - Filled with Love paper stack and I used distressing ink on the edges of the cuts.
