Button Day!!!

Here at Cut It Up it is button week. Yup, pretty simple and fun challenge, all you need is at least two buttons and a diecut!!! Check out my layout below!



I started working on my Hawaii scrapbook awhile ago and this one seemed to fit the bill for this weeks challenge. I used Life is a Beach Cricut Cartridge for the title on this page as well as one of my go to cartridges George and Basic Shapes.

To embellish the page I added some large flowers and felt leaves as well as a little bit of faux stiching . To add a bit to my flowers I used buttons as the flower centers.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my project this week, now it's your turn to upload  yours!

    I'm so jealous of your Hawaii trip!! Your photos look great on the page you created. I love the huge flowers... That's what I think of when I think about Hawaii!

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . I looked into this War binder thing a little more closely and decided that that is exactly what I wanted to do with my Planner. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
