Dixie Peices Challenge

I discovered another great source for good challenges. The below layout was made for a challenge posted on the Dixie Peices forum. We were to create a layout using the sketch below.


And, here's my take. I had actually started off in a completely different direction, but really didn't like how the layout was looking so I tore it all apart and started over. I am much happier with this. I decided to use a picture of myself for once :) This was takin at the Hawaii airport in Kona, the day we arrived. Looking outside at the rainy day I sure wouldn't mind be back there!!!

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
