Working with Rubons
The Friday challenge presented by Burlap and Buttercups was to use some rubons in your layout. So, I used a lot and had a blast. I love challenges that make me use my stash. And, for those of you who aren't familiar with Burlap and Buttercups, they are a monthly Scrapbook kit club that also has a blog where they post challenges. The neat thing about their blog is that you are not required to use their monthly kits in their challenges so all can play!! I personally, just discovered this site and I believe that it is fabulous!!
There are rubons all over this layout (I may have gotten a little carried away :) The embellishments that help frame each of the pictures are rubons as well as the corner flowers in the 2nd half of the layout. The other two rubons are the words Delight and Experience found on the pictures in the 2nd layout. Thank you Burlap and Buttercups for a great challenge!!
