All Shaped Up and a Winner

My daughter is about to start kindergarten, as in tomorrow, and last week she got a postcard in the mail from her new teacher. She was so excited about this that she begged me to make a card for her to bring to the teacher. She's getting pretty big in the crafting world herself and know how this game is played :). We are card givers! So, I created this card for her to bring to open house tonight.

I made this card using the Locker Talk Cricut Cartridge. This is actually the featured project for this cartridge. I thought it was cute so decided to use it. I changed it a little bit, however. Instead of using the book cover function to create a card/book with the ribbon holes, I welded them together and used the hide contour button on my gypsy to create a folded card. I used double sided paper and a line stamp to create the inside matt for her to write on.

I am entering this in the Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge this week. Hopefully, this qualifies as the challenge was to create a shape card. I figured the front of the card is shaped out so maybe?? :)

I have a choosen a winner using the Random.org for the Fantabulous Cricut Back to School Cricut Crawl!

And the winner is. . .
