Golf Layout

Image
Let's Scrap has another fabulous sketch this week. I am skating by as it's due soon, but it was such a good one I had to get it in there! The Sketch: My take: My husband went to Canada with a friend last summer on a 5 day golf trip. As you can tell it was gorgeous and they had fabulous weather! This layout was created using DCWV's Lemon Flower stack. The title "Fore!" Comes from the Child's Year Cricut Cartridge. The corner golf ball and ball/tee border came from the Sports Mania cartridge. I used chipboard letters for the other title. Till Next Time,

Report Presentation

Image
Grace loves to write up random "report" on things she is interested in. Her Kindergarten teacher (last year) was great - she allowed the kids to bring in things to share. So when Grace showed her the report she did on the 'olden days' just for fun she had Grace present it to the class. Here is a very nervous little girl sharing her report with the class! These pics were perfect for the fourth sketch in the NSD 2014 Sketch Contest being held on Let's Scrap Here's the sketch: My take: This layout was created using DCWV's My Sunshine Stack. The circles were all cut using the George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge. The title "report" was cut using the Type Candy Font cart. Till next time,

There is a lot going on over at Let's Scrap  for National Scrapbook Day/month and I'm hoping to get a lot done, however, it's a slow start :( But, I did get three layouts done so far so I thought I'd share them here. I will say that the pics were taken with my phone so the quality won't be as usual. I love sketch challenges so the the NSD 2014 Sketch Contest was right up my alley. Check out the sketches and my take on them below. The Sketch: My Take: My son is in preschool and his favorite part of the day is pick up when all the boys in the class converge out on the front lawn for a little big of steam release. To create this layout I used the blue base paper from DCWV's White Ginger Stack. The corresponding accent papers come from Me and My Big Ideas. I cut out the Boyz title using the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut Cartridge and the sun is a journal card from My Mind's Eye. The Sketch: My Take: You would think my d...
