Even More Scrapping Challenge #54

If your thinking to yourself that I might be a little sketch challenge crazy - I'd have to say you are correct. I love sketches and maybe even someday I'll create them - but for now I just love creating from them. So, here is one challenge blog that I haven't entered yet.

To create this layout I used paper from the Recollections: All Occasions paper stack. The stickers and the title piece is from My Mind's Eye.

    You had me confused for a moment because you posted the wrong sketch, but I figured that out pretty quick! Love the mix of papers, and how creative to turn the sketch to fit your photos. The embellishments are a great touch, too. Thanks for playing along with EMS Sketches!

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . I looked into this War binder thing a little more closely and decided that that is exactly what I wanted to do with my Planner. Let's Scrap - Friends Forever

Since moving away from my home town I don't get to see my old high school/college friends very often. There was a core group of us that hung out beginning in high school and we are all friends still. The one friend that was responsible for all of us meeting and ultimately becoming friends was getting married. It was so fun to all be back together for an evening. What was also fun was seeing all of our children together. Definitely one of those sentimental moments that needs to be scrapbooked and kept for all time! Let's Scrap has a fantastic sketch up on the blog that was perfect for these pictures. This sketch included a fun element: booklet.
