Our Disney Adventure

It's been a little while since I have posted for any challenges. I recently was rear ended which caused whip lash in my neck, which has made it very difficult to sit in the craft room for any length of time. I have been seeing an amazing physical therapist and things have improved greatly. If you happen to live the Coeur d'Alene area I suggest you look into this Physical Therapy office. So, this challenge was a lot of fun to sit and do (painlessly). It's a pretty simple take but I'm just happy to be in my craftroom and to have completed a challenge!

A lot of times I use my Cricut Design Space to do everything and I love doing that. But, sometimes I just want to use the stickers and embellishments I have in my stash. So, with this challenge put up by Sketch and Scrap
I decided to use only my stash and not the Cricut - sorry Cricut, don't worry I still love you!

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . I looked into this War binder thing a little more closely and decided that that is exactly what I wanted to do with my Planner. Let's Scrap - Friends Forever

Since moving away from my home town I don't get to see my old high school/college friends very often. There was a core group of us that hung out beginning in high school and we are all friends still. The one friend that was responsible for all of us meeting and ultimately becoming friends was getting married. It was so fun to all be back together for an evening. What was also fun was seeing all of our children together. Definitely one of those sentimental moments that needs to be scrapbooked and kept for all time! Let's Scrap has a fantastic sketch up on the blog that was perfect for these pictures. This sketch included a fun element: booklet.
