Let's Scrap Blog Hop

As part of the Let's Scrap blog hop we are asked to take and post a picture of our scrap space. Mine is a little messy right now, because I have one of my kiddos sleeping on a mattress in my craftroom. So, that is what your seeing on the floor. Reason being my craftroom has a ceiling fan (fans are pending for the kids rooms) and it's hot!



So, if you ignore the bed, you can get an idea of my room.

    Great craft area. I have my husband gym mats in my room at the moment. They always seem to end up a multi-functional room.

    lol I was wondering about the mattress Jamie!!! I thought it was for those late night scrapbooking marathons... lol Nice big room!! :)

    What a fabulous crafty room you have Jamie! I love how organized you are. Even with the mattress in there, you can still see what an amazing room you have. I like the idea of a late night scrapping marathon and that is what the mattress is for by Cathy. lol Hugs, Brenda

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . Let's Scrap - Friends Forever

Since moving away from my home town I don't get to see my old high school/college friends very often. There was a core group of us that hung out beginning in high school and we are all friends still. The one friend that was responsible for all of us meeting and ultimately becoming friends was getting married. It was so fun to all be back together for an evening. What was also fun was seeing all of our children together. Definitely one of those sentimental moments that needs to be scrapbooked and kept for all time! Let's Scrap has a fantastic sketch up on the blog that was perfect for these pictures. This sketch included a fun element: booklet.
