Father's Day Is Almost Here

And that is what this week's challenge at the Fantabulous Cricut blog is all about. This week we are to make a card using an outdoors theme; hunting, fishing, hiking etc. What is more outdoors than a fast car? And that is what my hubby is totally into. So, I decided to make a card with a new stamp that I had bought recently as well as some great cricut cuts!



This simple card was a lot of fun to make. Both the base shape, behind the car stamp, and the sentiment DAD was cut using the Superman Cricut Cartridge. I wanted to make it flashy like a sports car so I used some glittery paper that came from the DCWV All Dressed Up paper stack. I think it went together nicely!

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today.
