1st Day of Summer - Hooray!

Welcome to the first day of summer, doesn't that thought just warm you right up?! I'm so ready for summer, especially since our first camping trip of the season is coming up very soon! That brings me to this weeks challenge at Cookin With Cricut. We are to create a project that features a BBQ or Picnic theme, or an item you would find at one of those events. I decided to create a layout ahead of time for pictures that I know I will take of BBQs I know we will have!



I created this layout using the Father's Day Cricut Solutions Cartridge. I used this cart to cut out the BBQ you see in the above picture. Everyday Paper Dolls was also used to make the BBQ guy and the little BBQer. (the other two embellishments came out of a swap, so I'm not sure what carts were used to make them). The paper comes from DCWV's The Guy stack.

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
