Fantabulous Monday Challenge

This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut is make a Holiday Card. I have been wanting to use the ice skater from the Winter Woodland Cartridge for awhile so I thought this would be a good opportunity. I, also, used some trees from the Winter Frolic cartridge and the pond was from the Create a Critter cartridge. Combine the ice skater with some beautiful embellishments from Creative Charms and it was the perfect look that I was after!
This weeks sponsor is Creative Charms and they have some amazing embellishments in their shop. Below I used Their Seasonal Sparkles charms which inclued the all the bling on my card: winter, snow, snowflakes and the stars on the ice skater's dress.     Very pretty card! Love the ice skater too and I still have not cut it. Love the way you did the skater with the scene! Great job with the embellishments!

    I love your card. First off it is very inspirational. I love the sense you get of the motion of the trees and the skater. I just think it awesome. TFS

    Oh Jamie! My best friend would just adore this card because she is a figure skater. It's so hard to find figure skating items for cards, but I have both of these cartridges so I may have to scraplift your awesome idea! I love the way you used the CC embellishments too! Very clever!

War Binder

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. One of my favorite things about homeschooling, besides having my daughter home with me everyday, was using my Happy Planner for lesson planning. I love my lists and seeing my week planned out on paper. So, I was thinking through how to make a good use of my Happy Planner this coming year. I a blog post on how to set up a  War Binder . I looked into this War binder thing a little more closely and decided that that is exactly what I wanted to do with my Planner. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today.
