Let's Scrap 3-26-14 and Design Team Call!

Image
This week's sketch is up at  Let's Scrap  and as always it is a good one! Their Sketch: And my take on it: This layout was a blast to do. These are fun pics of my kids, their cousins, and some very good friends of theirs. They were having such a good time playing together! The paper comes from the DCWV: The Kidlet Stack. To embellish I jused twine, vellum phrase for my title/sentiment, and some chipboard peices from my stash. And besides a great sketch  Let's Scrap  is having a Design Team Call! If you are interested you will need to create a layout based on the following sketch and follow the instructions to apply that you will find on the  Let's Scrap  main page. And, I will say it is a lot of fun being a DT member of  Let's Scrap !

Another great sketch from Let's Scrap this week! Come visit us on the forum and see all the great inspiration. There are some amazing ladies with great talent! Here's the sketch: And here's my take: We barely got any snow last year so the kids made due with what they had. So I decided to scrap them playing with their neighbor friends. This layout was created using DCWV's: Home For Christmas Stack. The title is chipboard and I used twine to further embellish the page. I had a little fun with the twine as you can see! Now it's your turn, come on over to  Let's Scrap  and give us your take on the sketch! Till next time,  Blessings!

If your thinking to yourself that I might be a little sketch challenge crazy - I'd have to say you are correct. I love sketches and maybe even someday I'll create them - but for now I just love creating from them. So, here is one challenge blog that I haven't entered yet. Here's their sketch: My Take on it: To create this layout I used paper from the Recollections: All Occasions paper stack. The stickers and the title piece is from My Mind's Eye. A closer look at the My Mind's Eye Diecuts and Stickers: So glad you stopped by! Till next time, Blessings!

If it looks like I waited to the last minute to do all these challenges, well . . . you would be correct. But, I had to because as you can see their sketches are fabulous. So, let's check out the last sketch for the month of February! Their sketch: My Take on it: This layout was created using My Mind's Eye Party Time Paper Stack and the Batman Cricut Cartridge for the title "Calling all Heros" and all the Batman images. And, of course, don't forget the twine - gotta love the twine! And just for fun, here's another Batman layout I did recently: Till next time, Blessings!

Another great sketch from the My Scraps and More Sketch blog . Check it out! The Sketch: My Take: This layout was created using DCWV's The Cinnamon Luster Stack. The Volcano was cut using the Paper Doll Dressup Cricut Cartridge and the title was cut using the A Child's Year cartridge. For further embellishment I tied the tag off with a washer and some crinkle ribbon and added some journaling sticker from 7 Gypsies. Thanks for stopping by - till next time, Blessings!
