Let's Scrap Sketch: 1-29-14

Image
This weeks sketch is up over at the Let's Scrap Challenge forum! And of course it is a great one! When I saw the sketch I knew it was the perfect layout to use those journaling cards that I have in my stash. So, I picked one and then decided on which pictures would go with it. Yes, I picked my pictures to match my embellishments :) Here's the sketch: Here's my take: My kids along with a couple of our friends were asked to model some children's wedding attire for a local childrens consignment shop. The shop was going to start renting kids formal wear. They looked so cute in their fancy clothes I had to take some pictures myself. To create this layout I used some mesh from my wedding dress (appropriate I think) and a beige colored prima that I distressed with some brown ink. The title was cut out using the Once Upon a Princess cartridge (font) and the floral shaped embellishments were cut using the Picturesque Cricut Cartridge. Thanks so much for ...

This weeks sketch was a great one! It wasn't too difficult to come up with good pics to use for it.  Check out the sketch: And here's my take on it: This was such a fun wedding and it was a fun one to scrap as well. My husband and I were both a part of the wedding which made it all that much sweeter!  This layout was created using DCWV's La Creme Stack and 7 gypsies phrase stickers. The title was cut using the Paper Lace Cricut cartridge and the flower borders were created using Wall Decor and More. I hope you enjoyed the layout today. If you feel inspired come on over to the Let's Scrap  forum and upload your own take on this challenge! Till Next Time Blessings,

Let's Scrap LO: 1-1-14

This is it, my first layout as a Design Team member for Let's Scrap , and it's a great sketch!!! (as it usually is) So, without further fanfare here's the sketch: And here is my take: This layout was so much fun to create. I used a DCWV stack that I haven't used as much, The Glam Girl - and it was more than perfect for these pics of my adorable girl! The two tags and the butterfly's on them come from the Picturesque Cricut Cartridge, the title word "Grace" comes from the A Child's Year cartridge, and finally the butterfly at the top center of the pages comes from the Home Accents Cartridge. I sure hope you enjoyed the sketch and I encourage you to head on over to  Let's Scrap and upload your own interpretation of the sketch. What are you playing for?
