Pins To Creation - Chalkboard Paint

Image
Welcome back for another Pinterest inspired creation for the  Pins to Creation blog ! For this post I decided to make a very fun project for my best friend who recently moved to Denver, sigh :( They were going to be making a long drive over from the state of Washington with their three kids, so a group of us from our church made each of the kids an activity bag. We stuffed the bags with all sorts of activities to keep them busy in the car. My contribution was inspired by the below project: You can see this orginial project at Little Birdie Secrets You will, also, find this picture pinned to my Pinterest boards  Stuff I've Done/Tried .  Feel free to visit me on Pinterest and be a follower! Here's my project: After painting the clipboards I had chipboard paint leftover so I painted this shadow box glassless frame for my daughter's room. Thank you for visiting and checking out my Pinterest Project idea. Be sure to co

Shape Card

Image
Yay, one of my favorite types of cards to make are shape cards and that is what the challenge is this week at  the  Fantabulous Cricut Blog ! Being that we are getting awfully close to Christmas, I decided to make a Christmas card. I used the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge to make my card. Adding a little bit of glitter to the cage for an added effect. Now, it's your turn to head on over to the  Fantabulous Cricut Blog  and upload your shape card!

White Elegance

Image
This week through December 26th the challenge at  Cut It Up  is to create an ALL white card with only a small touch of one other color, and please don't forget to use your diecut!!!! Here's my card for this challenge: To make this card I used glitter paper and fun edged scissors to cut the edge of it on the card. Behind the edge you can see some pretty polka dot ribbon. The snow flakes come from the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge. They are shadowed using some silver metallic paper. I then added a jewel in the center of each snow flake to finish it off. Now, it's your turn. Create an ALL white card with a diecut and upload it to the  Cut It Up  blog!

For this week's post here at Pins to Creation  I am going to back track just a bit. Only in the sense that Thanksgiving is now behind us and my project today revolves around it. My husband absolutely loves pumpkin pie and he has recently started a new job. Well, I do love to spoil him, especially this time of year. This year his team at work benefited from my spoiling my husband. I saw this great idea on Pinterest  to make a pie using Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut Cartridge. Here is my inspiration: This was made by Patti over at Creations by Patti !  You will, also, find this picture pinned to my Pinterest boards  Stuff I've Done/Tried .  Feel free to visit me on Pinterest and be a follower! Here is my project: I hope you enjoyed my project, I know that my husband and his co-workers did! Come back on Friday for another great idea!!!

Welcome to the Pins to Creation Winter/Christmas/Hanukkah blog hop!!! There are some fantastic projects for you to see and I hope you get inspired. If you have just happened by and would like to start at the beginning than head on over to the Pins to Creation Blog . If you have come here from Jessica's  blog than you are in the right place. Here was my inspiration: This orginally cam from Court at Court's Crafts This orginally came from Donna at  Popsicle Toes Like usual you can see these pictures on my Pinterest boards . On to my projects: I used the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge to create my card and instead of doing the background embossed (too big to fit into my textured boutique embosser) I used pretty glitter paper. I used the idea rather than to copy her card directly. I loved how she layered the sentiment. I did the same thing using three layers of the shadow feature for the base of each word. Such a simple ca

Hello and Happy Monday to you!  It is time for another challenge from the Fantabulous Cricut blog. This week the theme is to create a snow themed project using snow or a snowman. Now my absolute favorite winter icon is the snowman, so this project was a bit of fun for me! I decided to pair my snowman up with my other favorite winter thing. . . coffee!  I loved how this coffee cup and snowman from the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge. There were so many snowman on that cartridge to choose from but this one, when paired up with the coffee had just the right look - a snowman that was so excited for a hot cup of joe. Well, thank you for your visit and now I encourage you to create your own snow inspired project and upload it to   Fantabulous Cricut !
