 My favorite time of year! It's time to hold a birthday party for Jesus! Every year my mom reads a Christmas story and dad brings out the birthday cake.  I always love the monthly challenges at the Rochelle Spears and the Scrap With Stacy blog. They are always a fun combination with a sketch and a tic tac toe challenge. I so appreciate all the work that goes into their blogs and the challenges they host. Thank you so much ladies! For this month's challenge I decided to use some photos from the school beach day.   One of our favorite campgrounds to visit is Sam Owen in Hope, ID. It has a large dog beach where the dogs can swim off leash! Ahsoka loves to swim so this is a must visit each summer. To scrap a couple of the photos I took of her swimming with my son and daughter I used a sketch from Sketches In Thyme . This has actually turned out to be a favorite of mine. Instead of the outlined circle shape I used a full on circle. I, also, moved the tag from the top left down to the bottom left.  I am also entering this over at the Lasting Memories challenge blog.  I am working on the Sketches In Thyme challenges and this sketch was a fun one. I did alter it a bit, putting the circular shapes in clusters rather than spreading them around. I also used a 4-6 photo instead of a smaller one.  My Layout: The Sketch: Thank you so much for stopping by! Blessings,

 Another fun challenge at Scrap Our Stash ! It was a theme challenge and I decided to use some photos of my kids down at the city park for this lay out challenge.  Scrap Our Stash has a great sketch challenge up on their blog. I decided to use it to scrap a photo of my son with his brand new Retrospect Skateboard. He saved up his money to buy it and couldn't wait to get outside and try it out. I am also entering this over at the  Lasting Memories  challenge blog.
