Lasting Memories Guest Designer Post 1

I'm so excited to announce that I get to be a Guest Designer at the Lasting Memories challenge blog for April. This first challenge is called Word Play. And I'll explain that more below. 

I decided to use photos of my daughter and her best friend from when they went to the mall for a shopping spree at Justice! I can't believe she is growing up so fast. I just watched them looking around the store, trying things on, and making purchases like grown ups. Yes, I stuck around - and watched from afar. Not quite ready for the whole drop them off at the mall - at least not two years ago when this was taken. 

The Challenge: Wordplay - Since today is Easter Sunday - use a scrappy item, theme, or technique for every letter in the word "EASTER". Your layout does not have to be Easter-related - it can be about anything. And since there are 2 "E"s you will need to include 2 different "E" items. We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
