 So, while we were camping in Canada, our camp host told us about a hike to find a lake. He told us that we would come to a fork in the road and we were to stay to the right. So, we headed out on our hike and low and behold we came to a literal Fork in the road! So funny, so we had take a photo. I am a Guest Designer at  Lasting Memories Scrapbook Layout Challenges  this month! And, I'm so excited to share the third layout challenge for the month!  Two years ago in July it will be two years since we bought and moved into our current house. I was so excited about it and mostly because it was on a culdesac, which I have always thought to be the perfect type of street to live on. It has definitely lived up to all I thought it would be. We have amazing neighbors and it's such a quiet street. I am blessed! Here is another layout from our stay at the Roosevelt Inn in downtown Coeur d'Alene. They had a giant chess board out on their lawn. I had to hold a mini photo shoot with the girls. My father in law loves pizza and we get together with them about every couple of weeks for a pizza night. His birthday is coming up and I wanted to use this image from Design Space to create a card. The image is a heart beat but instead of a heart in the center it has a pizza.  I decided to create the card using a sketch from the Sketch n Scrap blog. I am so excited to announce that I was choosen as a Guest Designer this month for the double page layout sketch at Stick It Down .  I love scrap booking and really love working with sketches. I have been scrapbooking for over 20 years at this point. I have two children, a golden-doodle, and I'm married to the best man a girl could ask for. And when I say the best I mean it! This man puts up with my scrapbooking obsession as well as my coffee addiction and my love of books (which are everywhere)!  I enjoy spending time in my craft room creating layouts for our family scrapbook albums. It is so fun to be able to open our family albums and not just look at pictures but relive the memories through the layouts themselves. I put my albums in the order in which things happened and I go year by year. The only problem with this method is that I end up with a lot of albums! I tend to scrap everything, however I find that it is so worth it when I look at my children enjoying them....

Remembering back to the end of 2017 the biggest standout for memories was when daddy said the kids could get a puppy! We had talked about it for a long time and had even gone and looked at the animal shelters. We had decided that for us we needed a hypoallergenic dog and that starting with a puppy that we could train would be best for us. My sister had a friend who's friend had Golden Doodle puppies that had just been born, on November 21st. We got in contact with her and she reserved us a puppy. We were so excited! We started getting ready for picking her up, which would be right after the first of the year. We decided that her name would be Ahsoka (from Clone Wars, big star wars fans in my house). The kids enjoyed all the prepping, including playing around in Ahsoka's crate. The breeder was so sweet! She sent us pictures of our puppy as she grew! I decided to use this sketch to scrapbook a fun shopping trip that I went on with my daughter. She was working on her math grade in school and we decided that if she showed a good improvement in her grade that we would go shopping!
