Dream Big

Image
My daughter had gone to this Voiceover class with Joel Weldon at Mortimore Productions in Spokane, WA. It was such a fun experience and he taught the kids so much in just a few hours. Grace loved being in the voiceover booth.  To scrap these photos I used a challenge from the Scrap Our Stash Challenge blog . They had a fun sketch to work with. I coupled it with a color challenge over at the Cookin Up Creations challenge forum . My Layout: The Challenge and then the Sketch: For this challenge you will need to create a layout  using black, white and one other color.   Your embellishments will also need to be black, white and whatever other color you choose. To Create this Layout I used: DCWV: The Glitter Stack Mambi Chips: chipboard stickers Krinkle Ribbon Thank you so much for stopping by! Blessings,

Time to Fly

During the summer of 2018 we had a season pass to Silverwood. We went to the amusement park frequently so I have a lot of Silverwood photos to scrap. I decided to just showcase some highlight in our family album so we don't have a ton of layouts about the same thing. In this layout I focused on rides that go really high up in the air. Panic Plunge and Spin Cycle - two rides my son enjoys going on.  I used a sketch from Sketch n Scrap  to scrapbook these photos. My Layout: The Sketch: A Closer Look: To Create this Layout I used: DCWV: Just My Type paper stack Beep Beep Cricut Cartridge: title Bits and Pieces CC: arrow Mambi Chips: chipboard sticker frame Kaisercraft: Party Time - photo overlay Thank you so much for stopping by! Let's Scrap - Scrap Retreat

Image
In 2017 our annual scrapbooking retreat was very memorable. It snowed. . . a lot! We ended up loosing power for about 5 hours in the morning. It was actually a fun experience. I work so much with my Cricut that it was an awesome challenge to create layouts and to not use the Cricut for them. Despite the awesome challenge of creating without diecuts, I was very excited when the power came back on!  I used the left side of the below sketch from Let's Scrap  to create my layout. My Layout: To Create My Layout I used: Pink Paislee: Switchboard paper stack Mambi Chips: chipboard stickers Small Talk Frames & Tags Cricut Cartridge: frames The Girls Paperie by Margie: Paper Girl - letter stickers "Retreat" Washi and brackets: from stash Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Let's Scrap - The Last Day of School

Image
This layout is late in coming this is the last day of 3rd and 4th grade for my kiddos which was for the 2016-2017 school year. I am a bit behind in my scrapbooking! But, at least I'm working on it! And that has to count! Let's Scrap has a very fun sketch for us this time and I had a lot of fun working with it! I changed it up a little bit due to the fact that I wanted all my pictures to be seen on the grid page. Let's Scrap - Friends Forever

Image
Since moving away from my home town I don't get to see my old high school/college friends very often. There was a core group of us that hung out beginning in high school and we are all friends still. The one friend that was responsible for all of us meeting and ultimately becoming friends was getting married. It was so fun to all be back together for an evening. What was also fun was seeing all of our children together. Definitely one of those sentimental moments that needs to be scrapbooked and kept for all time! Let's Scrap has a fantastic sketch up on the blog that was perfect for these pictures. This sketch included a fun element: booklet. At first I had some trouble figuring out how to do this but then it became clear. I hope you enjoy the layout and the booklet as pictured for you below. I decided to use the left side of the layout. And I hope you are inspired to try this fun element on your next layout! The Sketch: My Take (on the left side of the...
