Scrap Queen

My daughter goes to a sewing camp at our church every summer. This particular year she made a quilt and pillow case. The picture of her holding her quilt was so adorable I had to scrap it. Well it's a new year already, wow that came fast!  The next two weeks the Cut It Up blog challenge is all about the "New". Your challenge is to create a paper project with a new crafty item that you got for the holidays. Didn't get any crafty items? No worries, use something from your stash that you bought and haven't used yet. Don't forget the diecut!!!! My mother got me some new embossing folders so I made these cards using the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge and embossed the base papers as well as some of the girls dresses. The embossing folder that was used above is one of the new mini folders that my mom gave me.  Now it's your turn, what new crafty item did you get (or buy for yourself)??? The challenge this week at Fantabulous Cricut is to create a project for a special couple, (Wedding, Anniversary). I have a some friends who are getting married soon so I decided to start working on a wedding scrapbook for them. I am making the layouts, but I will leave the photo matts empty so that they can add the pictures that they want to each page. The album is not yet done, but I will give you a sneak peek at some of the layouts that I have finished so far. The paper that I used for all of these layouts come the DCWV All Dressed Up Stack as well as the DCWV Glimmer Stack This layout was created using the Tie The Knot and Forever Young Cricut Cartridge.
