Let's Scrap - Shop Till You Drop

Image
This week's sketch over at the  Let's Scrap  blog was super fun to work with. So perfect for just about any photos. I decided to use this sketch to scrapbook a fun shopping trip that I went on with my daughter. She was working on her math grade in school and we decided that if she showed a good improvement in her grade that we would go shopping! She definitely succeeded in improving her grade so shopping we went. It was so much fun and I thoroughly enjoyed my day out with my girl! Let's Scrap - Pirates

Image
I love this months sketch from Let's Scrap so much that I used it again to scrapbook our trip into Adventure Land in Disney's Magic Kingdom. I didn't have very many good pictures from the ride itself because the camera on my phone wasn't the best and it was dark in the ride (I have since gotten an I-Phone 8 plus which I think would do a better job). I had two photos that turned out semi ok so I decided to put those on the tags and then just scrap the photos the photographers took outside the ride. It isn't very piratey but I think it turned out cute!  The Sketch:  My Take: To Create this layout I used: Simple Stories: Say Cheese paper pack Simple Stories: Say Cheese II - diecuts Picturesque Cricut Cartridge - tags Blackletter Cricut Cartridge - title font SVGCoop : Esty store - "Dead Men Tell No Tales" and the keys Krinkle Ribbon Distressing Ink Now for a closer look: Thank you so much for stopping ...

Let's Scrap - Harvest House

Image
As you can see below and by the title of this post, I am taking a short break from scrapbooking our Disney pictures - trust me it's short! I have this weird quirk where it's very difficult for me to scrapbook out of order. Some days I can and others - like this particular day I just couldn't do it. This amazing sketch put out by the Let's Scrap blog  just didn't work with the pictures that were next in my Disney box/envelope - so I went to what was next in my regular family album picture box/envelope. Ah ha, perfect match. So, here are our pictures from the Harvest House. This is an amazing place in Greenbluff that we have a blast visiting in the fall. They have a lot of fun fall activities as well as food! Many years we go with my sister and her family and my parents. This is a tradition we all look forward to every year! On to the sketch: And my take: To Create this Layout I used: DCWV: Autumn Splendor paper stack Mambi Chips: "Fami...

I wanted to take a moment to share some more layouts that I have completed recently. The first is a hike we took nearby our home. Elijah was so excited because he found a rock that looked like the Millennium Falcon. I just loved the pictures of the kids walking through the grass.
