80th Birthday

My husband Jason said the sweetest words to his father during the 80th birthday celebration. I am so glad I was able to capture a photo of them. Many others stood up that day as well to share stories and words of appreciation with Don. It was so fun to hear the stories and to hear the respect that people, including my husband, had for Don. I choose to use a sketch from the Sketches In Thyme blog to scrap a couple of these photos.

We are now into August and I have been thinking a lot about the fact that school is coming. I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past year and a half. She is now going to go to a Christian school in the fall for junior high. I can't believe that she is in 7th grade already! I am both sad for me and excited for her. Crazy Cute Cards

I subscribed to Cricut All Access for a couple of months and had way too much fun! I am definitely gonna have to repeat that! While playing around I found these Crazy Cute Cards. I fell in love with them and pretty much made everyone of them. I think there were only a couple I didn't make. Anyway, I am going to share 6 of them with you today. Russian Dolls Card Robot Card Bird and Bird House card Crayon Box Card (love this one) Tool Box Card Steampunk Card Weren't those fun!!!
